| New Sailboat Review tests the DASH 750 |
 On 4 May 2010, SAIL Magazine launched a new annual publication, New Sailboat Review. Of the 31 sailboats tested, one was a trimaran - the DASH 750.
The publishers write that they have:
Created a magazine that targets today's sailboat buyer. The New Sailboat Review is a compilation of boat tests featuring sailboats produced for the 2010 model year. For this debut issue, SAIL's experts tested and reviewed 31 new production sailboats currently available in the North American market.
But what did they say about the DASH 750? Below is a selection of quotes from the review.
- * There'll be smiles all round aboard this hot performer
- * Reinforced... with carbon fibre... and kevlar
- * The added power
- * The hardware is first rate
- * A modular galley sink and single burner alcohol stove
- * Place for a porta potti and a cooler
- * Everything was smooth
- * I could not fault the boat's behaviour
- * We wafted along at speeds of 11-15 knots (the boat will top 20, I'm told)
- * My host related stories of cruising... with his wife and six-year-old daughter and how the youngster thrilled to the high speed reach on the way home. He didn't sound like a salesman. He sounded like a dad.
