| 23rd King's Cup Regatta, Thailand; 28 Nov - 3 Dec 2009 |
 The Phuket King's Cup Regatta, Thailand, is Asia's biggest and most popular regatta.
According to the official website, Inaugurated in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand, the event has been held every year since during the first week of December. With Royal Patronage, the Regatta is organised by the Phuket King's Cup Regatta Organizing Committee under the auspices of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club, in conjunction with the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand, the Royal Thai Navy and the Province of Phuket.
The event will be held from 28 November - 5 December 2009. Race Days will be held from 30 November - 2 December. The following day will be a reserve day and the final two days of racing will be held on 4-5 December.
The Corsiars will race in the Multihull Class which has experienced significant growth in recent years. Confirmed Corsair attendees include:
- 2 x 37'
- 1 x 31'
- 2 x 28'
- 1 x Sprint 750
- 1 x DASH 750
In addition, Henry Kaye's SeaCart 30 Thor and the Phuket built runaway Phuket Raceweek winner, Davinci Nina shall also be there.
 Corsair's Dealer in Thailand, Bob Garner from Sail in Siam, enthusiastically says that this is the race in Asia that everyone has to attend - and that the field of multihulls is growing noticeably each year.
"This year, we have people flying in from New Guinea, Australia and the US to skipper the Corsairs. We also have people from the US, Germany, New Guinea and the UK who want to crew", says Bob.
