The new Sprint 750 MK II
Corsair Marine is pleased to confirm that a new Sprint 750 MK II is currently being developed. We think it will be an exciting, new addition to the Corsair fleet that will fill a nice niche in the market. Full details will be announced at a later date.
As followers of Corsair Marine will be aware, in October of last year - during a somewhat difficult global financial crisis - the company was acquired by Seawind Catamarans. Obviously, the new ownership has been very keen to introduce changes that will stimulate new sales.
Since January of 2009, just two of our most affordable trimarans, the Sprint 750, have been sold. During the same period, however, we have sold more than 50 of our identically sized trimaran, the DASH 750.
While the global economy continues to be weak, interest in our most affordable trimarans should be strongest. We therefore believe that there is an exciting gap in the market that sits between the Sprint and the DASH. We expect that our new Sprint 750 MK II will augment our existing range and fill this gap beautifully.
By continuing to adapt and respond to the market's changing needs, Corsair Marine will remain a strong and vibrant company that will be able to continue delivering quality products and services for all our loyal customers.
More details soon.
