San Diego Winter Series - Cortez Racing...

Among other things, the magazine wrote that:
The 20hp Honda is perfectly suited to the boat, torque and speed are amply sufficient for anyone who follows the philosophy of real auxiliary propulsion under 1 reef and the jib, the 37’ didn’t stop giving us positive messages. Everything was going well aboard!
I opened the throttle on a close reach and immediately felt that I liked this pretty trimaran; the boat speed was steady and high (13 – 14 kts), and it passed through the waves cleanly and smoothly.
The 37’RS strode along strongly, whilst leaving a delicate wake, and communicated homogenous structure-feelings.
The overall geometry is very good;the helm remained light and directional, almost neutral.
Progress against the wind was fast, the RS showed itself to be generous, precise and reassuring.
The floats’ vertical thrust is unequivocal and generates a lot of confidence.
The machine purred away at 18 – 19 knots, surfing at over 22 knots!
It demonstrated a really fun potential, and a good safety margin
The floats work in real collusion with the central hull.
Christian Malardeau (the importer of the Corsairs into France) was jumping for joy: his trimaran had just beaten the 2nd boat by 35 minutes on a 2-hour leg!
A superb sailing pleasure machine, the 37’RS is also a real cruising boat, bright, comfortable and elegant.
Unladen, it proves to be a formidable racing machine in the hands of a sporting crew.
The 37’RS’s qualities propel it directly into the fairly closed circle of top of the range folding boats
