Phil Medley, Corsair Marine's Manager for Trimarans' Production has just received the following text message (one hour ago at 10.20am (+7GMT, 13 October)) from Joerg and Ralf who are currently sailing their new C28RS from Vietnam to the Philippines.

"Good morning!

"We’re okay. Still 200 miles to the Balabac Strait.

"We got already wild weather changes. We had wave riding 3m waves. Only jib, 14 knots….Yiiiiha!

"Vmax under spinnaker 15.5 knots. ;)

"A fine hello from us to all team members!

Fantastic to hear that Joerg and Ralf are safe and well and by the sounds of things, having immense fun on their trip to the Philippines.
