DASH makes splash in Multihulls World magazine

The DASH makes a splash in the media again.

The next issue of Multihulls World magazine, dated 1 April 2011, has done a review of the DASH 750. It declares, if you liked the Corsair 24, "you are going to love the DASH 750."

The April 2011 issue of Multihulls World Magazine is about to hit the streets. It features a review of the DASH 750 which has been a nominee for European Boat of the Year, Cruising World Boat of the Year and Sailing World Boat of the Year to name a few.

Multihulls World magazine is fairly positive about the trimaran. Below, we have tried to cull the number of quotes down to the Top Ten. Easier said than done!

1. Did you like the Corsair 24? If so, you are going to love the Dash 750!

2. The (folding) system used by the company for the past 25 years is fiendishly effective.

3. The builder has remained faithful to PVC foam/glass sandwich construction to keep the weight low, just what we like here at Multihulls World.

4. Despite the large forces taken by the structure, the articulated arms don’t move.

5. This articulated hatch is a great idea! Thanks to its two rails, the headroom increases from 1.52m to 1.92m. Will be appreciated by the tall.

6. Sitting comfortably in the cockpit with the sheet within reach, we overtook all the sailing boats on the water. 

7. Combining brilliantly pure performance and peaceful family outings, or even a dream anchorage is the challenge the DASH 750 has successfully met. 

8. Undo a few bolts and the beam goes from 5.6 to 2.5m. Very practical for borrowing a monohull’s berth in the marina, and transporting by road.

Today, Corsair Marine received an email from one of our DASH owners, Ed Dixon from Florida who recently bought #037. Ed was responding to the article in Multihulls World:

"FYI, I am the proud owner #037 Dash - this is my third new Corsair 24 [previous was a 1998, 2003 and now a 2011] and I can say that this is BY FAR the best finished and detailed boat that I've had by far- esp the gelcoat!!!
