Ross Stein is the West Coast Class Officer for the North American Corsair 24 Class. And now it's time to vote on whether there should be synthetic or stainless steel shrouds in the North American Corsair 24 Class.

Below is an email received from Ross Stein regarding stainless and synthetic shrouds.

Now that there have been over 40 posts on stainless vs synthetic stays for the Corsair 24 in Sailing Anarchy Multihull Forum, the North American Corsair 24 Class has issued a ballot to all known owners using the same secure html Airstrip technology we used for the dagger rudder vote last year.

The ballot explains the background for this issue, summarizes the forum discussion, and asks owners if they would like synthetic shrouds, forestays, and diamond stays to be class legal; stainless stays would remain class legal.

If you are an owner and did not receive the ballot, please email me with your name, address, boat name, sail number and hull VIN number, and you will be sent a ballot.
