Two explorers, Borge Ousland and Thorleif Thorleiffson, will set off in June 2010 to circumnavigate the North Pole in a Corsair 31UC:

The 31's

The Corsair 31CR Center Cockpit Cruiser Racer
The Corsair 31CR is essentially an Ultimate Cruiser except there is a marine head compartment under the V-berth. This allows for a V-berth in the forepeak.

Corsair 31RS - Aft Cockpit Sport Cruiser

The 31RS's cockpit comfortably seats six adults.
Winches, halyards, sheets and the controls for the daggerboard, rudder and outboard motor can all be operated from the cockpit.
For high performance cruising, the the 31RS offers a spacious and functional cockpit and cabin. There is also plenty of storage space below deck.
The 31RS is designed for the ultimate in day sailing or weekend performance cruising.
